It was a matchup of pitching in the second semifinal between the Dominican Republic and the Netherlands in the World Baseball Classic.
In the end, the Dominicans scored four runs in the fifth inning to take a 4-1 win and advance to play Puerto Rico in the finals on Tuesday.
Moises Sierra came up big for the Dominicans as he caught a ball headed into the stands in the first inning and drove in two runs in the fifth. All that after not originally being in the starting lineup.
Puerto Rico now gets a third shot at the Dominicans this WBC. Both times before, they lost.
Will the championship game be any different?
