After the recent WWE draft, CM Punk has been drafted to Smackdown, and I think this will be the making of him.

Coming up to Backlash and the Cena vs. Edge match, everyone things Punk will cash it in here, but I hope he doesn't.

I think Edge will win the match against Cena and bring the title back to Smackdown. This then leaves the door open for an Edge vs. Hardy program that lasts all the way up to Summerslam. During the summer, Hardy would have a number of moments to get his second title run, but for whatever reason, he just won't get it.

At Summerslam, Edge and Hardy have a TLC match to end the feud. Despite being beaten and battered, Hardy finally manages to win the title from Edge and we can have a nice heartfelt moment of Hardy finally getting back what his brother took from him.

Suddenly Punk's music hits and he's ready to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. It will automatically set a heel turn in motion as Hardy is so over with the fans. He can come down to the ring, hit Hardy with a chair a couple of times, hit the GTS, and win the title after only minutes after Hardy wins it.

The two can then feud for the rest of the year. Even if WWE doesn't want Punk to hold it to Wrestlemania, he can drop it at the Royal Rumble to deal with a now-face Edge or Chris Jericho, who is coming of the back of a great feud with The Undertaker.

As for what CM Punk could do at Wrestlemania, they could throw him in the Money In The Bank match again, but I think that would be a waste. I'd rather see him go one on one with The Undertaker. In any event, this will be the year he makes a name for himself.
