CHICAGO – The Big Ten Tournament championship was Wisconsin's game and Ohio State's victory.
The No. 2 seed Buckeyes (26-7) were able to grind out a 50-43 slowdown win over the No. 4 seed Badgers (24-11) and win the fourth Big Ten Tournament title in Thad Matta's nine seasons. The Buckeyes also won the last tournament in Chicago in 2007, but they lost last year's title game in Indianapolis to Michigan State.
