Miami Defeats UNC for ACC Tournament Crown
Miami 87, North Carolina 77
One of the best games of the season took place at the Greensboro Coliseum on Sunday as the Miami Hurricanes and North Carolina Tar Heels put on a shooting clinic in the ACC Tournament Final.
P.J. Hairston of UNC and Trey McKinney-Jones of Miami set the nets on fire with their three-point shooting. Both players made six shots from beyond the arc.
During the stretch run of the second half, Miami was able to break the UNC zone and jump ahead for good.
With the victory, the Hurricanes won their first ever ACC Tournament Championship.
