What Would Happen in a Vince McMahon vs. Dana White Match?

If you're a member of the WWE Universe or a follower of pro wrestling, you know that Vince McMahon has a large set of grapefruits. Let's be honest: the WWE did not reach the top on the food chain without taking some risks and facing some challenges head on.

According to an article on WrestlingInc.com, referencing the F4W Online, Dana White revealed for the first time that McMahon once challenged him to a fight.

White was being interviewed by former NHL player Denis Gauthier Jr. During the interview, White was asked who would reign supreme if he were to be locked up inside a steel cage with McMahon:

"Let me tell you something, and I've never said this before ever in any interview anywhere. If Vince hears this, he's going to go nuts. Vince is too old, which he won't think he is, and he'll go crazy. And he wanted to [fight] one time," remarked White.

"Vince wanted to fight me. Swear to God. Called me up and said, "Let's do it." We can either do it in the UFC, or let's do it at WrestleMania. And I said, "You are crazy."

White noted of the 67-year-old: "I always have said it, and I'll say it again; I respect Vince very much. But Vince is too old to be fighting anybody."

First off, I totally agree with White. At this stage in his life and even two years ago when he made the challenge, McMahon is too old to be in the ring.

But aside from his age, I'm not sure if these two men would be able to put on an interesting wrestling match.

On the other hand, if this were held at UFC, it would be a different story.

Although McMahon and White may not be able to put on a wrestling match, I am willing to bet the two could put on an entertaining fight. McMahon would have to really push himself, though, if he were to contend with White, who is almost a quarter of a century younger.

If you take anything away from this challenge, it should be that McMahon is still willing to go there. He is still willing to push boundaries and toe the line.

Regardless of the quality of what these two could do inside of a ring or cage, it wouldn't matter. The promotion and the hype is what would sell this match. The UFC fans buying WrestleMania or the WWE fans buying UFC is what would make the match worthwhile.

If this match was planned correctly, these two men wouldn't even have to touch each other. They could run some sort of an angle with Brock Lesnar or other WWE and UFC competitors where they rush the ring and it turns into something bigger.

The possibilities would be endless.

The article goes on to mention that the proposed fight was to be at WrestleMania 27. The idea would have been to have this be a double main event with The Miz and John Cena.

So who would you put your money on in a fight? McMahon or White?
