Real Madrid recovered from trailing 2-1 to thump Mallorca 5-2 on Saturday night at the Bernabeu.

Goals from Emilio Nsue and Alejandro Alfaro, either side of a Gonzalo Higuain effort, helped the Islanders into a one goal lead at the break.

Karim Benzema and Mesut Ozil were introduced at half time though, and Los Blancos set about making amends for a slack first 45 minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo leveled the scored, a Luka Modric wonder goal edged Madrid in front and Higuain and Benzema scored tap-ins to put a comfortable gloss on the scoreline.
