Breaking Down the Champions League Quarterfinals

The Champions League quarterfinal draw was made on Friday, at UEFA headquarters in Switzerland.

Arguably the tie of the round will see runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich take on Italian champions Juventus—a meeting of perhaps Europe’s most potent attack and almost certainly its best defence.

There will also be plenty of attention on the meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona. Barca fought back from 2-0 down after the first leg to hammer AC Milan, 4-0, at Camp Nou in the last 16. Lionel Messi was to the fore and Barca will take some beating.

PSG will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the first leg, but the former Barca man will be back at his old home for the return at Camp Nou.

Real Madrid vs. Galatasaray and Malaga vs. Borussia Dortmund are the other two ties drawn.

In this clip, B/R lead writers Will Tidey and Michael Cummings break down the matchups and make their predictions.
