Sidney Crosby was slumping. He had played five periods — heck, he was more than halfway toward a sixth — without producing a point. With less than eight minutes remaining in regulation, and his Penguins trailing by a goal, Crosby sent a spinning pass to right winger Pascal Dupuis, whose 12th goal silenced the sellout crowd at Air Canada Centre.
