NY Rangers Look to Move Past Loss in Buffalo with Lively Practice in Winnipeg
USA TODAY Sports

WINNIPEG – So I’m sorry for the delay in posting Wednesday’s practice blog, but cabs in Winnipeg are scarcer than the sun in these frigid parts of Canada, and it took a while to get from A. to B. The Rangers had a surprisingly energetic practice despite John Tortorella’s postgame rant Tuesday night and that disappointing 3-1 loss in Buffalo. The coaches had players doing several drills that involved offensive rushes, stick work in tight areas, and also head-to-head work, including the three-on-two rotating scrimmage in one zone with the nets stationed in each corner and Henrik Lundqvist and Martin Biron facing close range chances.
