As the clock moved closer to the start of the free agent/trade period Tuesday, the Jaguars continued to make an effort to re-sign cornerback Derek Cox.
Cox’s agent, David Sullivan, said the dialogue between the sides remain open, but he has been contacted by several teams since the three-day negotiating window opened last Saturday.
