In hindsight, how many of The Kop would have kicked up as much of a fuss about the sale of their old striker if they knew what the new one would deliver?
Is there anybody who fancies a return to the old days of Torres dipping in and out of form and confidence whilst their Uruguayan spinning top runs amok through the Premier League?
Suarez's opener at home to Tottenham on Sunday was his 50th goal for the Reds since being signed for a bargain £22.7 million from Ajax in January 2011. As long as they fend off the inevitable interest over the summer, the 26-year-old will add plenty more to that tally.
After scoring on his debut against Stoke City, Suarez has gone on to rattle home a further 49 goals. For the first time, Suarez's half century has been captured on one small feature which every Liverpool fan must watch, and watch again.
It's only when seeing all of Suarez's strikes up close and at speed that you realise the vast repertoire of skills the Liverpool No. 7 has at his disposal, and this video alone will add another couple million to his price tag.
Amongst my personal favourites was a nutmeg and top corner curler against Stoke for what was only his 10th goal in a Reds shirt, and another nutmeg and outside-of-the-boot finish against Norwich City.
He may get criticism from some quarters for being slightly wasteful in front of goal at times, but plenty of the finishes demonstrated so far during his brief Liverpool career have been instinctive, classy and clinical.
So sit back, relax and enjoy Luis Suarez's first 50 goals for Liverpool.
A truly phenomenal player.
