ESPN sportscaster and college hockey play-by-play man John Bucci gross reported it first Sunday, and other outlets confirmed it: Jack Parker, the head coach of the Boston University Terriers the past 40 years, will resign Monday. This is seismic news in the college hockey world, and it probably perked up the ears of Avalanche coach Joe Sacco and assistant coach David Quinn as well.
