Alex Morgan scored a goal in the second half to give the U.S. Women’s National Team a 1-1 tie against Sweden and a berth in the 2013 Algarve Cup championship game. With the tie, USA advanced to its 10th Algarve Cup Final in the past 11 years and will face Group A champion Germany on March 13 with a kickoff and venue to be announced this evening.
