It was a long, satisfying day for Quintin Berry.

Berry, out with patellar tendinitis in his left knee, played Sunday for the first time since Feb. 24. Berry replaced Austin Jackson in centerfield in the sixth inning of the Detroit Tigers' 2-1 victory over the Washington Nationals at Joker Marchant Stadium.

"Felt good, man," Berry said. "I'm tired of not being able to play, just kind of hanging out, sitting in the training room.
