Ohio State held its annual Pro Day on Friday for 40 NFL scouts, according to The Lantern, as former Buckeyes tried to sell themselves to future organizations that may consider drafting them.

13 different Buckeyes eligible for the draft participated in the Pro Day: John Simon, Jake Stoneburner, Johnathan Hankins, Etienne Sabino, Travis Howard, Zach Boren, Reid Fragel, Zach Domicone, Orhian Johnson, Garrett Goebel, Nathan Williams, Taylor Rice and Karim Stephens.

Not all players who participated revealed their numbers since the school is not required to make Pro Day results public. But there are plenty of players who made their stats public and may have improved their draft stocks.

Here is a look back at how several former Buckeyes did on their Pro Day.

DT Johnathan Hankins

Weight: 325 lbs.

Hankins may be a first-round pick next April, but didn't run the 40 during Pro Day. He did do some positional work in front of the scouts.

TE Jake Stoneburner

Height: 6-foot-4

Weight: 245 lbs

40 Time: 4.52 (all courtesy of ElevenWarriors.com)

Jake Stoneburner improved on his 40 time by 0.1 seconds from the NFL Scouting Combine and, likely, his draft stock as well. He also had former Ohio State quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith throwing to him during his positional drills.

OT Reid Fragel

Height: 6-foot-8

Weight: 300 lbs.

40 Time: Did not run (all courtesy of The-Ozone.net)

Reid Fragel has shown NFL scouts that he has only gotten better since making the transition from tight end to offensive tackle. He's gotten up to 300 pounds, and may only grow stronger as he gets into an NFL strength and conditioning program.

DE John Simon

After missing the Michigan game because of a shoulder injury, Simon will do positional drills for scouts on March 25. Simon did say he feels like he could transition to linebacker because of how often he dropped off into coverage.

DB Orhian Johnson

Height: Not made available

Weight: 215 lbs.

40 Time: 4.5 (all courtesy of The Columbus Dispatch)

Johnson was one of the players who needed to have a strong Pro Day to have any shot at the NFL. After bulking up to 215 lbs. and running a 4.5 40-yard dash, he may have given himself a much better chance to get there.

DB Travis Howard

Height/Weight: Not made available

40 Time: 4.5 (all courtesy of The-Ozone.net)

Howard may have a solid future in the NFL as a slot corner. Although he didn't have the 40 time he was after, he told Bill Rabinowitz of the Columbus Dispatch he was satisfied with how he did in the positional drills.

FB/LB Zach Boren

Height: Not made available

Weight: 238 lbs. (at NFL Combine)

40 Time: 4.8 (all courtesy of The-Ozone.net's Brandon Castel)

Zach Boren's future in the NFL could be limited to the role of a fullback. He does have good hands out of the backfield and could be either a short-yardage back or a receiving threat in the redzone.
