The Los Angeles Lakers welcomed the Chicago Bulls to the Staples Center Sunday for the final regular-season meeting between the two this year.
The Lakers had finally gotten back above .500 with a 118-116 win over the Toronto Raptors on Friday. It's the first time Los Angeles had reached the mark since November 20. The team came into Sunday level with the Utah Jazz, who occupy the eighth spot in the Western Conference.
For Chicago, it's all about securing home court in at least the first round of the playoffs. The Bulls are fifth, 1.5 games back from the Brooklyn Nets in fourth place. The Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks are both only a game behind Chicago. Getting a win in Los Angeles would be huge.
Let's take a look at the action and see whose playoff standing would receive a much-needed jolt Sunday.
