Ranking the Most Infamous Closer Celebrations in MLB

There’s a saying in Major League Baseball that the toughest outs to get are the last three.

If so, well, then I suppose any pitcher who gets the last three outs in a ballgame deserves to celebrate a little.

There are plenty of closers around baseball who do just that. A fair number of them prefer to keep it simple with a little fist pump or a glove slap, or perhaps with a little hop off the mound. Harmless stuff, really.

Other closers prefer to put a little more personality into their celebrations. For these guys, showing some emotion isn’t enough. No, they need to share all their emotions and make a spectacle of themselves in the process.

B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar and I got together to discuss the most infamous closer celebrations in baseball today. As they always are, our ramblings were caught on video.
