Life of a Free Agent: Behind the Scenes with Steven Jackson in NYC

BR StudiosFeatured ColumnistMarch 8, 2013

No one ever imagined Peyton Manning wearing a different uniform. What about Joe Montana ending his career in a Kansas City Chiefs uniform?

Come 2013, St. Louis Rams fans will have to adjust to not seeing No. 39 in the backfield.

Steven Jackson, heading into his 10th season and turning 30 in July, wants to start and be the "bell cow" of an offense. More importantly, Jackson wants to win now.

The best Rams team he played for was 8-8. He has never played on a winning team and never was in the chase for the Lombardi Trophy.

Jackson showed no signs of slowing down last year; he topped 1,000 rushing yards for the eighth straight season.

Check out our video above as Steven Jackson flew to the nation's media capital, New York City, and told everyone he will no longer be a Ram. We had exclusive access to Jackson's media tour and followed the new free agent for his day in the Big Apple.

Where should Jackson sign? Who would he win a Super Bowl with? Let us know in the comments below.
