If Jason Campbell bolts in free agency, the Chicago Bears are staring at an empty cupboard behind starting quarterback Jay Cutler.

Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports the team is interested in re-signing Campbell after he played through a one-year, $3.5 million contract last season.
