Summing it up: The final score does not do justice to the struggles endured by the Spurs (48-14) as they improved to 2-0 in their most recent stretch without Tony Parker. Up 8-0 on the early going, they absorbed 15-1 and 15-0 runs by the Bulls to fall behind by 14. The Spurs fueled that deficit with their own sloppiness. But they committed only three turnovers in the second half, a critical factor in limiting the Bulls (34-27) to a paltry 31 points after the break.
