The amazing Chicago Blackhawks produced a third-period rally to defeat the Avalanche 3-2 on Wednesday at the United Center. Daniel Carcillo scored on a rebound with 49.3 seconds remaining, extending Chicago's NHL-record points streak to 24 games (21-0-3), longest ever to begin a season. The Blackhawks, who trailed 2-1 after two periods, also extended their franchise-record winning streak to 11 games. The Avs fell to 4-2-3 when leading after two periods.
