Hellllloooo playoffs!
The taste of the rim of the Stanley Cup is so close, yet so far.

The Flyers last regular season game and loss against The Rangers lost them their fourth place spot, in which lost us home-ice advantage in Round 1 of the playoffs against
the one,
the only,
Pittsburgh Penguins.

Let's break it down shall we...
Jeff Carter(PHI)- 2nd in NHL for goals
Mike Richards(PHI)- Leading the NHL in short handed goals
Daniel Carcillo(PHI)- Leading NHL with penalties.
Evgeni Malkin(PIT)- Leading the NHL with points and assists
Sidney Crosby(PIT)- Leading the NHL in tears.

Pittsburgh upset the Flyers last year in the Eastern Conference finals, but this is a new year.  One of the rival teams will be gone after Round 1 and neither team will pass it up without a good fight. Let's hope for the best when they start on Wednesday, April 15th.

Bring it, Pens.
Round 1...ding!
