The Miami Heat defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday at Target Center, using a strong fourth quarter to eventually put it away, 97-81.
The Heat led after one quarter, 22-16. The two teams battled it out in the second and third quarters before Miami outscored Minnesota 28-18 in the final 12 minutes.
The Heat were able to overcome 23 turnovers by shooting 51 percent from the floor and out-rebounding the Timberwolves, 48-39.
Minnesota scored 18 turnovers of its own and shot 38 percent from the floor.
Player of the Game: Dwyane Wade, SG, Miami Heat
Dwyane Wade was spectacular on Monday night, scoring a game-high 32 points on 15-of-23 shooting and adding 10 assists and seven rebounds. He registered a plus-minus of plus-23 in 38 minutes of action.
