Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic says Cristiano Ronaldo could return to Old Trafford in the summer, according to The Sun.
Ronaldo, 28, played for United from 2003 to 2009 before joining Real Madrid in a world-record £80 million transfer.
The Portuguese international, who has scored 37 goals in all competitions this season, returns to Old Trafford on Tuesday for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie between Real and United.
According to The Sun, Vidic said it's possible Ronaldo could rejoin United.
“It would be a big ask for many reasons. I would love to see Cristiano here. I could see it," Vidic is quoted as saying. “He is a United supporter. Even though he left he still follows United and still misses the club and the environment here.”
