Felix Doubront pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings in his first outing of spring training, and the Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays 5-1 Monday.
Dubront's debut was delayed by a sore left shoulder. He gave up one hit, walked two and struck out two. He threw 43 pitches.
