A Tribute to the Hardest Working Pit Crew in NASCAR
Betcha you weren't thinking about the Kevin Harvick Inc. No. 33 Nationwide Team.
I'm a huge fan of Kevin Harvick Inc., love what Kevin and Delana Harvick bring to NASCAR both on and off the track.
So I've put together my first slide slow to honor the team and what they have achieve so far in 2009.
After all they have won races, in not only the Nationwide Series at Bristol, but also in the Camping World Truck Series at Martinsville.
I'm betting if Happy let his Cup crew have the weekend off then let Ernie and boys pit him in Cup they'd get him back in victory lane.
Finally
Happy celebrating in Victory Lane with his pit crew after winning the Scott's Turf Builder 300.
Heading to the track

Team No. 33 wins
A great Victory Lane photo of the No. 33 team celebrating a hard earned win at Bristol and been along time coming. They've been close for a bunch of races, but it was awesome to see them seal the deal.
The Harvicks and Ernie in Victory Lane
The Harvicks with crew chief Ernie Cope, with the hardware they won at Bristol. I love the addition of Ernie to KHI in 2008, like that he was moved to the No. 33 Nationwide car this year. I'm thinking they have their man to run the pits if Happy is ready to go Cup racing.
Yup that's his Nationwide crew at Atlanta
Here's a photo of the No. 33 Nationwide pit crew moonlighting in the Camping World Truck Series as they serve Happy's No. 2 at Atlanta. They were a truck length away from winning as Happy finished second.

Victory Lane celebration

Another Victory Lane photo
Martinsville has the coolest Victory Lane in NASCAR. It's right on the track, here's a awesome Victory Lane photo, and yup the KHI 33 teams won in two series in 2009 now. I know they aren't the first to do it, but it's been a while since a team has done it and it's awesome that KHI did it.
Kelly Bires and Ernie talking it over
Kelly Bires and Ernie, talking it over prior to practice in the garage at Nashville. It was very cool of Happy to step out of the driver seat and give Bires an opportunity to get his foot back into a ride. He's a great kid, that got caught by changes with his JTG Daughterty Racing and the economy and running a limited schedule this year.
Nashville pit stop
Another final shot of the No. 33 team doing what they do best. Servicing the No. 33 with Bires driving at Nashville and were he brought it home fourth.
