STILLWATER, OKLA. — Myck Kabongo was too engaged. Sheldon McClellan was not engaged enough. And the referees were engaged in making calls that benefited Oklahoma State and hurt the Longhorns.

That was all part of Texas coach Rick Barnes’ assessment after his Longhorns lost to 15th-ranked Oklahoma State 78-65 in front of 12,474 fans at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Saturday, after leading by eight points in the first half.
