MARTIN Jol’s cup was definitely half empty as he grumped his way back to west London this evening.

The Fulham boss was unhappy at his team for giving away a 2-0 lead that would have just about settled any lingering relegation threat to the Whites - but was even less pleased at the penalty that put the Black Cats back into the match as Fulham lead 2-0.
