With each day that passes, the closer we get to WrestleMania 29. Matches and feuds are falling into place and predictions about the outcome of the event are being made.
One match that is pretty much set in stone is John Cena challenging The Rock, current WWE champion, for the title. The WWE Championship is the top belt in the WWE and holding it means you are at the top of the company.
Here are my predictions for the Superstars that will hold the WWE Championship in between WrestleMania 29 and 30.
John Cena is set to square off against The Rock at WrestleMania for the second straight year. Only this time, the WWE Championship is on the line.
The Rock vouched to win the WWE Championship and he did. But the fact of the matter is that he is a part-time Superstar, and his title reign isn't going to last long.
The expected outcome of Cena versus Rock part two is that Cena will win and hold the WWE Championship for the 11th time.
Cena hasn't held the belt since 2011, and it will be interesting to see who will be his first challenger if he wins at WrestleMania 29.
CM Punk is coming off of a 434-day WWE Championship reign. After losing at the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber, Punk is out of the WWE title picture.
However, it shouldn't be long before Punk gets back on top of the company. He is the top heel and will probably hold the WWE Championship at least once in between WrestleMania 29 and WrestleMania 30.
My prediction is that his next title reign will lead to a much desired feud with Brock Lesnar.
Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE the night after WrestleMania 28. He has feuded with John Cena and Triple H, but he has yet to compete in a WWE Championship match.
I think that will change after WrestleMania 29, and Lesnar will once again hold the WWE Championship.
I think a feud between CM Punk and Lesnar with Paul Heyman involved is very intriguing. If the feud included the WWE Championship, it would be even more intriguing.
A possible Lesnar title run could also put him up against The Rock at WrestleMania 30.
A Randy Orton heel turn seems to be inevitable. When it does happen, Orton will probably jump back into the top of the WWE and potentially into a feud for the WWE Championship. However, a World Heavyweight Championship feud might be more realistic.
It is going to be interesting to see how much the WWE is going to push Dolph Ziggler. He currently holds the Money in the Bank briefcase, so similar to Orton, Ziggler will probably compete for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Ryback has had a very successful year and came very close to winning the WWE Championship several times. There has been some discussion regarding a heel turn, and that could put him in contention for the WWE Championship immediately after WrestleMania 29.
It took about 15 years, but Mark Henry has finally found the perfect gimmick for himself. His Hall of Pain is reopen after returning from surgery. His last run included a very successful World Heavyweight Championship run, and this one could lead to a WWE Championship run.
