Madison - Jay Boulware's stint as a member of Gary Andersen's first coaching staff at Wisconsin ended before it began.
Oklahoma officials on Friday announced that Boulware, a native of Oklahoma City, had been hired to coach the Sooners' tight ends and help with special teams.
Boulware, hired by Andersen on Jan. 9, was set to coach UW's tight ends and coordinate the special teams.
