Cal announced Friday that new football coach Sonny Dykes’ five-year contract is valued at $9.7 million, or an average of $1.94 million per season.
The terms also include several performance- and academic-based bonuses that are contingent on the Cal football team achieving a minimum Academic Progress Rate (APR) score.
