Raise Should Lift Jerry Kill's Salary Out of Big Ten Cellar

Jerry Kill won't be the lowest paid football coach in the Big Ten Conference for much longer, Gophers athletics director Norwood Teague said during a news conference Thursday, Feb. 28. Kill, who is paid about $1.2 million annually, is in the third year of a seven-year deal he signed in 2011. But Teague said he had been talking to Kill about a raise.
