The Canucks have lost fourth-line left winger Aaron Volpatti on waivers to the Washington Capitals.
Volpatti, a 27-year-old native of Revelstoke, was a healthy scratch in three of the last five games and was averaging just 7:18 of ice time, lowest on the team.
