Best One-Two Scoring Punches Currently in the NHL

There's just something about having only one superstar in your lineup that simply isn't enough to vault a team toward the Stanley Cup.

Having a marquee, one-two punch is vital in any industry, not just hockey—just consider some of the great duos we've had the chance of watching in action.

Hall and Oates.

Montana and Rice.

Starsky and Hutch.

All right, I digress, back to hockey. One of the most unsung pairs of stars is Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg. There's been a lot of change in Detroit, but those two continue to lead the Red Wings toward success out in the Western Conference. Datsyuk, in particular, is one of the most talented and gifted players that we never talk about or consider when discus the game's biggest talents.

There are others of course, including Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin in Pittsburgh, that when healthy, are virtually unstoppable. Just consider their collection of Art Ross, Hart, Rocket Richard and Conn Smythe trophies.

These are just a couple of the great one-two punches in the NHL. Watch the video for the tandems that are amongst the game's best.
