WWE's biggest night of the year will take place when WrestleMania 29 unfolds in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on April 7, 2013.
And whilst not every matchup has been set for the epic pay-per-view night, the predicted bouts and stipulations will no doubt provide for some fantastic viewing and entertainment—plus whatever twists and turns unfold on the night itself.
What we all want to know is who'll walk away with big wins to their name and who won't be as fortunate, as well as which wrestlers are going to actually take part. In that case, read on for some of the predicted matchups and winners from WrestleMania 29.
Triple H defeats Brock Lesnar
Since returning to WWE, Brock Lesnar's rivalry with Triple H has already begun once more and taken several dramatic twists in the process. Their huge fight recently, which saw Triple H draw blood from his opponent and force him to receive medical attention, was just the latest example of this.
The pair are expected to line up at WrestleMania 29 which, whilst not confirmed, is seemingly a given in light of their recent altercation. And if that happens, then expect Triple H to again dominate Lesnar here and walk away with a huge victory on the night.
Lesnar was shown to be vulnerable at RAW by Triple H, and it would make for compelling viewing to watch him go down again in the rivalry here.
Especially given Triple H's defeat at WrestleMania last year.
John Cena defeats The Rock
It's the biggest wrestling match seen all year, and it will be the headline event of WrestleMania 29; fans will not be disappointed when John Cena takes on The Rock.
The Rock picked up a big win over CM Punk at the WWE Elimination Chamber to book his rematch with Cena, but was shown in that fight to be nowhere near his best and looked gassed throughout—something that Cena will exploit with a dominant performance at WrestleMania 29.
And in doing so, would avenge his WrestleMania 28 defeat.
It's just the only way this rivalry can go.
Alberto Del Rio defeats Jack Swagger
Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio are developing a very nice rivalry between them at the moment, and their fight for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 29 will simply further that.
And whilst many will think that a Swagger win makes sense, it'll be Del Rio who emerges with the win—following on from his great showing at the Elimination Chamber.
Del Rio was very impressive in defeating Big Show (and doing it relatively cleanly as well), forcing the big man into submission, which Big Show hardly does. Del Rio proved that he has the potential to be a key WWE player moving forward into the future, and he'll confirm that with a big win here—ending the momentum for now surrounding Jack Swagger.
Who do you think will take the stage and win at WrestleMania 29?
