On this week's edition of WWE Main Event, we saw superstars shine and power overwhelm finesse. All in all, we learned one very important lesson.
If you plan on taking down brute force, you better try something different than what we saw tonight.
Our two matches were of entirely different natures, yet ended in the same manner. One was competitive, one was not and both ended in brutal fashion.
So what transpired on Main Event?
Mark Henry took on Justin Gabriel and Sheamus battled Cody Rhodes—let's see how it all went down.
Sheamus Defeats Cody Rhodes
In a rematch of their Feb. 6 Main Event brawl, Sheamus took on Cody Rhodes. Unfortunately for Rhodes, he faced the same undesirable result three weeks later.
Sheamus took his head off with The Brogue Kick and earned the elementary 1, 2, 3.
Rhodes took it to Sheamus during the match, connecting with stiff kicks and rope-aided choke maneuvers. When it came to executing late, however, Rhodes focused too much on his dreams of Diva's Champion Kaitlyn and not enough on the task at hand.
Considering the task is three-time World Champion Sheamus, this was a bad night to lose his head—both literally and figuratively.
Sheamus assaulted Rhodes both in and out of the ring. He made the announcer's table a head rest and used the ropes to pummel Rhodes' chest.
In other news, Rhodes and Kaitlyn appeared to have some sort of a love situation going on early. Sheamus wasted no time in playing 'Stache block, verbally attacking Rhodes and setting the tone for a physical match.
One which saw Rhodes continue his Main Event losing streak against the Irish superstar.
Mark Henry Defeats Justin Gabriel
Was this result ever in doubt?
Mark Henry has been nothing short of dominant since returning to the WWE. This week on Main Event, he turned his sights to an unfortunate party—one Justin Gabriel.
The South African superstar did all he could to make this a fight. Unfortunately, clotheslines and body avalanches from the World's Strongest Man can be likened to being flattened by an actual avalanche.
You just aren't going to get up.
After punishing Gabriel, Henry opted to put this one away with the World's Strongest Slam. Chances are, we'll be seeing that move again.
Potentially on a bigger stage.
As WWE Main Event went down, the Twittersphere was set ablaze. From tweets praising their favorite superstars to those fearing the Goliaths, the Twitter world said it all.
The official WWE Universe page may have said what every fan was thinking.

It's difficult to argue after what we witnessed tonight.
Unfortunately, it will take more than pure strength to make it far in this company. That's exactly what the Twitter world made clear upon the completion of this contest.
Just ask this WWE fan.

If Mark Henry had more character he would be champion more often and it would mean so much more. @wwe #mainevent2/28/2013, 2:04:16 AM
Do you agree?
Not to be outdone, the WWE Universe page struck again. This time, they offered their condolences to Cody Rhodes and that caterpillar on his lip.
Excuse me, "lovestache."

Looks like the lovestache will need a little tender, love, and care after @WWESheamus brogue kick! #MainEvent #WWE2/28/2013, 1:17:57 AM
We'll ask Rhodes how he feels if he ever wakes up.
