Canadiens 5, Maple Leafs 2 Final
Overall a sloppy game for Toronto. They gave up a goal when they weren't ready for a faceoff, failed to convert a penalty shot and gave up an empty net goal on a turnover when the goalie left the net too quickly.
Montreal played a smart road game, bottled up the Toronto offense for long stretches of time and earned a solid victory.
Carey Price was rarely tested with shots from in close, a good sign for the Habs defense.
Montreal also won the faceoff battle 54 percent to 46 percent led by Ryan White who won 5-of-7 draws.
