The Columbus Blue Jackets today announced that defenseman James Wisniewski has been placed on Injured Reserve retroactive to Feb. 24.

He is expected to miss four to six weeks due to a broken foot. Wisniewski suffered the injury when he was struck by a shot during Sunday’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center.
