LOS ANGELES -- UCLA freshman center Tony Parker had his best performance in quite some time when he had eight points, three rebounds a block and a steal Sunday against USC. He made 4-of-7 shots and played 17 minutes -- the most he has played since Dec. 15 against Prairie View A&M. Parker compiled all of those stats in 14 first-half minutes, however. In the second half, he only played four minutes and said he needed to become more consistent to say he had a good game.
