NBA, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets squared off in a battle of hot-handed Texas sharpshooters that ended in a victory for the Spurs, 109-88.

The Rockets struggled along with their star—Tracy McGrady struggled to find his usual shooting touch all game against the Spurs' scrambling defense, going only 5 for 22 from the field and missed all of his 3-point shots.

The Spurs continued their quiet streak through the West with their seventh straight win.  They smothered the Rockets on defense and executed their offense well.

The Spurs are starting to look like a world champion caliber team the closer they get to the playoffs.

Tony Parker and Micheal Finley both chipped in 22 points and Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili both contributed with 13 and 14 points respectively.
