Sun Devil Football Names Jackie Shipp to the Coaching Staff

TEMPE, Ariz.-- Jackie Shipp, a former NFL linebacker who led the Miami Dolphins to the 1985 Super Bowl and who has spent the past 22 years coaching college football, including four national championship games, has been named to the coaching staff at Arizona State University, Head Coach Todd Graham announced Tuesday. Shipp will serve as the Sun Devil defensive line coach while current Associate Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator Paul Randolph will assume duties as coach of the linebackers. Additionally, Defensive Passing Game Coordinator and Safeties Coach Chris Ball has been promoted to Co-Defensive Coordinator, Graham announced.
