NFL Is Next Stop for Sheldon Richardson

For Sheldon Richardson, the journey from Gateway Tech High to the National Football League is almost complete. There were some detours along the way, but in the end Richardson has lived up to expectations.

“It’s been a long time coming. I’m at the stage I want to be at, though,” Richardson said. “It took a while for me to get noticed. When I got my notoriety, it felt like I really didn’t have it because I was from an inner-city school and we didn’t get a lot of publicity like that.
