Mets' Matt Harvey, Travis d'Arnaud Make a Quick Connection
The Star-Ledger-USA TODAY Sports

Matt Harvey was set on one pitch. The count read 1-2 with Carlos Pena, the Astros’ most accomplished slugger, at the plate. A baserunner stood at second. His catcher, Travis d’Arnaud, cycled through the signs for each pitch but the four-seamer Harvey wanted to throw, forcing the 24-year-old catcher out to the mound to convene with the 23-year-old pitcher. Pena swung through the next pitch, a four-seamer, for the strikeout.
