Lucas Duda's transition to a slightly different batting stance has not gone smoothly through two Grapefruit League games. After striking out in each of his four at-bats Sunday against the Astros, Duda, who is coming off off-season wrist surgery, is now 0-for-7 with six strikeouts. Duda's modification isn't drastic, Mets manager Terry Collins said. He and hitting coach Dave Hudgens have worked on minimizing pre-pitch movement with the goal of getting his bat to the ball quicker.
