Here are three matches that would help WrestleMania 29 ensure this installment of the epic event will be the best ever.
The hype and speculation for WrestleMania 29, which will be held at MetLife Stadium on April 7, 2013, is at full speed.
There is still time for the WWE to build up some storylines and set up matches no one sees coming, but here are three that already have enough going for them to be worthy of inclusion.
Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker
There were reasons to believe that The Undertaker would not make this event (per PWMania.com). However, as Global News Sports reporter Arda Ocal posted on Twitter, The Undertaker made a surprise WWE appearance in what seemed to be a statement he would be ready to go for WrestleMania.
These two heavyweights could put on a dazzling and brutal show. It would undoubtedly leave fans buzzing and be remembered for years to come.
Chris Jericho vs. Big Show
As they continue to carry the mantle from the Attitude Era, Chris Jericho and Big Show can still put on a great show.
While these two don't have a current rivalry brewing, they could crank one up quickly.
This would be a nice showcase for two great performers as they continue to transition to the final stages of their careers.
The name power of this match would help add legitimacy to the card and give fans a great show once it arrived.
The Rock vs. John Cena vs. CM Punk
The Rock and John Cena certainly appear headed toward a collision at WrestleMania, and while this match would be great, we just saw it...at last year's WrestleMania.
It's time to up the ante, as the WWE needs to shoot for the stars. The best way to do this? Add another great champion to the battle.
This pairing would not only give us a great battle in the ring, but the buildup, featuring these three great showmen, would be outstanding.
