Jerry Montgomery reportedly joins OU staff as defensive line coach

NORMAN — Michigan assistant Jerry Montgomery will become Oklahoma’s new defensive line coach, according to a Saturday report on the Scout.com site that covers the Wolverines. Montgomery replaces departed defensive tackles coach Jackie Shipp, who was fired earlier this month after spending Bob Stoops’ entire 14-year OU tenure on the Sooners’ staff.
