NCAA Board Offers Emmert Vote of Confidence

The NCAA's Executive Committee has reaffirmed its confidence in the leadership of president Mark Emmert, according to a statement released to ESPN on behalf of Michigan State president Dr. Lou Anna K. Simon, leader of the group.

"On Friday, the Executive Committee unanimously affirmed its confidence in Mark's leadership as president and its support for his ongoing efforts to implement these essential and historic reforms," the statement read, in part.
