Cowboys coach Jason Garrett had no problem giving absolute answer about nose tackle Jay Ratliff's presence on the team in 2013.

However, he wouldn't go that far with receiver Miles Austin because of financial considerations.

Austin has a $8.3 million cap number, including a $6.7 million base salary for next season. The Cowboys could save potentially $3.6 million by releasing him.
