Manchester City vs. Chelsea: Premier League Live Score, Highlights, Recap
The Etihad Stadium—Manchester, England.
Manchester City 2-0 Chelsea
A lacklustre performance from Chelsea paved the way for a relatively one-sided fixture at the Etihad Stadium as City overcame their London rivals 2-0.
The first half was a drab affair in which City created but failed to finish, and Chelsea failed to create.
Yaya Toure broke the deadlock with a stunning solo goal in the second half before Carlos Tevez wrapped up a three-point haul with a 20-yard screamer.

Sub!
Silva off, Lescott on.
89'—Chelsea still pressing, but it doesn't look like there's a goal in this for the Londoners.
City using up time with Aguero down injured, and then subsequently subbed for Nasri.

More on the goal
Silva finds Tevez on the edge of the area and he makes himself a yard, shoots and scores. Bullet.
GOAL FOR CITY! TEVEZ!
Less than 8 mins left at the Etihad and @mcfc lead 1-0. Only leaders Man Utd have scored more away goals than Chelsea's 25 this season.

80'—Mikel off, Torres ON. Bring on the goals.
76'—A good spell for Chelsea who fling successive balls into City's box for the first time today.
Hart is equal to both challenges.
72'—Great link up play from Toure and Milner but City spurn the chance, and Chelsea really aren't getting any closer to finding any answers here.
So Chelsea, in need of goals, take off the two readiest sources of those in Lampard and Hazard.

Benitez will get a lot of stick for this, but really, Chelsea's players deserve the criticism today.

More on the goal
Silva hits the byline inside the penalty area, pulls it back and this is all Toure.
He jinks a few defenders, cuts inside and curls a sumptuous finish round Petr Cech's flailing fingers.
GOAL FOR CITY! YAYA TOURE SCORES!
GOLDEN CHANCE!
Ramires is put through 1v1 by Ivanovic and he stutters, stops and gets caught. He is eventually barged off the ball without getting a shot away.

GOLDEN CHANCE!
Aguero though again in between the two centre-backs but lifts the ball over Cech's bar in the 1v1!
54'—Aguero is sent through but Cahill tracks him doggedly and blocks from an acute angle.
52'—Rodwell goes in high on Cahill, then gets subbed off before he's sent off.
Tevez ON.
Good penalty, but that's a great save down to the 'keeper's right!
PENALTY SAVED!
PENALTY TO CHELSEA!
46'—City attack down the left again and a good cross is headed clear. Fruitful in the first half, more to come in the second?
45'—Kick off!
We're under way. Pray for goals!
45'—Chelsea threaten late as Ramires surges into the box but the danger is cleared.
HALF TIME
City 0-0 Chelsea
Needs a goal. Or six.
41. Rodwell who has been the man of the half for me forces Cech into two good saves in the space of 30 seconds - a shot and a header

38'—CHANCE!
Beautiful play down the left sees the ball cut across goal and Zabaleta does his best impression of Rafael da Silva. Not so much.
