Oregon State center Joe Burton already proved last week against Washington State that he has mastered the no-look pass. On Thursday night, he also demonstrated he can pull off a no-look shot. With the Beavers trailing Stanford by one point early in the second half, Burton picked up a loose ball that rolled right to him on the low block. The 6-foot-7 senior backed down 6-foot-10 Dwight Powell, put the ball in his right hand and thew it over his head and in. The basket was the highlight of a 16-point, eight-rebound night for Burton, but it was not enough to propel Oregon State to victory. Stanford evened its Pac-12 record at 7-7 with an 82-72 victory over the Beavers.
